About Emma

I believe that all children can achieve anything if they are presented with the right setting. I facilitate a space that helps them build resilience, develop life skills and become independent learners. I do this by using Forest School principles to promote child-initiated learning and managed risk taking.

After a decade as a primary school teacher, spending time in the Forest Schools of Scandanavia and completing an MEd in Outdoor Education, I noticed what worked for children and what didn’t. I want to offer Outdoor Education widely to children and families in Gloucestershire.
